Dreamy Hydrosol Mist

Enjoy the soft sweet scent of the garden (think, fresh cut stems of peonies + roses). Our Dreamy Lavender Mist is 100% English lavender hydrosol. Mist on skin, clothing + linens for a sweet-scented cloud of calm.

A note about aroma: Lavender hydrosol is very lightly scented, and doesn't smell quiet like lavender! The base notes of the plant emerge in the steam distillation process. Time of year and type of plant also impacts the scent. We think this batch of hydrosol smells more like freshly cut garden peonies and roses with woody, light notes of liquorice.

Lavender hydrosol has soothing, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It is the water byproduct of the steam distillation process used to extract essential oils from plants. It's diluted nature makes it safer and easier to use then essential oils, while still smelling lovely.
