Phenomenal (Lavandula x intermedia) is a French cultivar hardy to zone 4! It grows quite large (needs about 3 ft of space) and has very long stems. Flowers are a light purple-blue and have a very strong scent - almost menthol like.
Royal Velvet (Lavandula angustifolia) is an English cultivar that boasts deep purple blooms. It grows to about 2 ft wide, with long stems. Great for gardens, cutting and for culinary.
Super Blue (Lavandula angustifolia) is compact + a prolific bloomer. This English cultivar blooms from mid June until frost. It is perfect for small home gardens as it only grows to about 1 ft wide. When dried, the buds turn a deep blue.
