Spring Rural Romp Open House: May 31, 2025

Each year the Taste Real program of the County of Wellington puts on an open house event called the Spring Rural Romp. 

It is a self-guided tour to farms, nurseries, and local food and beverage businesses in Mapleton, Minto, and Wellington North.

Our farm is participating + will be open on Saturday, May 31 from 10AM - 4PM. The fields will be open, as well as the shop + concession stand. We'll be testing out a few new recipes in the concession stand, so that's definitely worth checking out.

This is a perfect opportunity to see the farm pre-bloom + get a feel for the place. It's also a free event, so there is no admission to the farm. 

Although our plants aren't in bloom yet, we will have live lavender plants for sale. And, personally, I think lavender plants are pretty gorgeous in late spring. The fields are filled with little green hedgehogs preparing to bloom!
